Olympic torchbearer James Loyd visited Oakley School.

The former pupil, now aged 19, ran the Olympic torch relay leg in Worcester in May. He was nominated for the role of torchbearer for his voluntary work and teaching swimming to children.

Mr Loyd presented the pupils with prizes for a variety of achievements, and returned on Wednesday to give the youngsters a presentation on his experience of being a torchbearer.
