Three appear in court following Kingsbury assault

Three men charged in connection with a brutal attack which left a man in hospital have appeared in court.

Elias Cordero, 20, of Prebendal Avenue, Aylesbury, Gwedon Jakoc, 29, from Reading and Tomasz Biernacki, 42, of no fixed address, have all been charged with GBH with intent.

The men were arrested after an assault in Kingsbury at around 2.30am on Tuesday which left a man with serious head injuries.

Two of the men, Mr Jakoc and Mr Biernacki, were arrested at the scene, while Mr Cordero was arrested later in the day.

The victim was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

He is in a stable condition and is expected to be discharged by Friday.

All three charged men appeared at Aylesbury Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The case was sent to Aylesbury Crown Court, where they are due to have a hearing on May 15.

Kingsbury was cordoned off and roads closed while officers investigated at the scene.

The square was reopened on Tuesday afternoon.
