THAME Literary Festival is nearly with us and as part of the preparations the organisers are organising a ‘beer and Beethoven’ evening.
he actual festival isn’t until the middle of October but on Friday, September 23, those keen to get the event off to an early start are invited down to The James Figg to listen to some classical music.
Organised by the Book House the evening offers the opportunity to hear the Coull Quartet play in the popular High Street pub.
Taking place in The Stables at the back of The James Figg the event starts at 9pm and costs £4 per ticket.

On the evening there will be some surprises courtesy of the Thame Food Festival.
