Time is running out for two business partners who are looking for a buyer to take on their bespoke elderly care company before Christmas.
June Jones first set up Caring Support at Home five years ago after she was unimpressed with the care that was available for her mother Vera, who was suffering from dementia and diabetes.
Businesswoman June, in her sixties, said: “I hired my own team of qualified carers and that’s when I met Liz Dee. She suggested we offer the same standard of care to others and Caring Support at Home was born.”
That was in 2009 and now the company, which is based in Thame Road, Haddenham, is three years into profit.
The firm offers a tailored service to those living within an hour’s drive, and duties include light help such as shopping right through to caring for the bedbound.
The pair have a loyal client base who are sad to hear they were having to give it up due to retirement and ill health respectively.
Former sales director June plans to spend some of her retirement learning to play the conga drums and pen a book about her business career.
Liz has been diagnosed with a condition which is not terminal, but she has been advised to avoid stress, meaning she has to give up work.
June said: “Liz and I have done the hard part of building the business from scratch and the potential is now unlimited.”
The office lease expires in December, but they need to know by October in order to make plans. Call 01844 292322 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
