Foodies can enjoy a genuine taste of summer this weekend at a special charity event hosted by a cheese shop.
The No.2 Pound Street shop in Wendover will be supplying a selection of food, wines and cider on Saturday from 10am-3pm.
The tasting event will take place on Manor Waste and all proceeds will be donated to the Florence Nightingale Hospice.
Shop manager Nicola Grant said: “There will be as many demonstrations and tastings as we can squeeze in from a wide variety of British suppliers and local producers – with the promise of something for all the family.”
“At No2 we love bringing food, wine, beer and cider to life. So what better way than to bring it to you in one big showcase open to all.
“We are also really thrilled that the event will be raising valuable funds for the Florence Nightingale Hospice.”
The cheese shop held a similar tasting event for the charity back in May and each week hosts its Coffee Monday event. It also runs regular themed-tasting events throughout the year.
Lindsey Fealey, the hospice’s head of fundraising, said: “This is a summer tasting event not to be missed.
“Many local businesses will be taking part, so not only will visitors get a chance to sample some fantastic food and wine, you will also be helping to support both a local hospice and local producers.”
The hospice aims to raise £450,000 a year to help fund its services.
