With the success of the Olympics and the advent of the Paralympics, Aylesbury’s Table Tennis League wishes to continue the trend towards sport and fitness.

To attract new players, county councillor, Chester Jones, has donated a grant from his Community Leaders Fund which allowed the league to buy a table tennis robot.

The league, which is held at Elmhurst Community Centre, will make use of the robot at the Friday sessions which start this week from 6pm for youngsters.

They will use the equipment to learn how to play different shots and mature players will use it for practice in the later session.
