A MAN has been charged on suspicion of importing £80,000 worth of heroin hidden in clothing from Pakistan.
Abuzar Khan, 24, of Fowler Road, Aylesbury, was arrested and charged with importation offences after he arrived at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3 on Monday on a flight from Islamabad.
Khan was allegedly discovered with around two kilos of the class A drug which was sewn into two saris, the Home Office has said.
He appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday where he was remanded in custody to appear again on June 26.
Four other men from Aylesbury were also arrested and have been bailed until August 17 pending further inquiries.
