A truly scrumptious boutique guest home has opened in Aylesbury as an addition to existing pub luxury accommodation.

Walton Cottage boasts a vaulted ceiling bedroom with central chandelier and a kitchen with a quarry tiled floor, butlers pantry sink, bespoke cabinets and a pink fridge.

For £150 a night with breakfast at The Broad Leys included, it’s intended to appeal to new brides on their wedding night, discerning travellers making a stopover in town, and even visiting celebrities to the nearby Waterside Theatre.

Owner Helen Wood said: “We’ve had a few actors staying with us at the Broad Leys from the theatre, and this offers them their own living space and a garden.

“I wanted to offer something a little bit different.”
