A spate of burglaries in Thame continued as two more were reported on Lea Park last week.
Both involved damaging locks to doors. One incident occurred between Tuesday October 29 and Friday November 1 when a property in Stafford Way was burgled. A lock on the rear door was damaged and jewellery stolen.
The second burglary, which took place between Monday October 28 and Friday November 1, was at a property in Ludlow Drive.
Again, a lock on the rear/side door was damaged and silver and gold items were taken.
The incidents follow four burglaries reported in Thame since the clocks went back on October 27.
Police continue to emphasise the importance of vital, basic home security measures and urged extra vigilance.
