A HADDENHAM school raised a tremendous amount of money for Macmillan Cancer Research.
Haddenham Community Infant School held a coffee morning on September 28 and a sponsored Olympic torch relay.
Cakes and biscuits baked in school by the pupils were augmented by the parents’ contributions and the Year two children served the treats to parents and other supporters.
Headteacher Justine Mitchener said: “The children then went onto the field to take part in the Olympic flame relay and were delighted with their achievements. Thank you so much for your support. We raised an amazing £223.76 altogether which we have sent off to the charity.”
