SANTA has been out meeting and greeting youngsters across Southcourt in Aylesbury.

Tony Coombs and his wife Tracey hosted the event on Thursday evening in a bid to raise much-needed funds for the special care baby unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

It was their way of thanking the ward which donated clothes to the couple – after their baby daughter Charlotte was born underweight in February 2008.

Tony and Tracey would like to thank all those that helped out to make the night possible, and say they will continue to raise money for the special care baby unit.

The carol float is organised by Rotary, which paraded the float through the town to raise money for charity.
