Special Santa steam trains are being run by the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway this Christmas.
The seasonal service is being run on Saturdays and Sundays through December until December 22.
Younger passengers will receive presents from Santa himself during the journey, while seasonal refreshments will be available for adults.
Five trains will be departing each day between 10.15am and 3.30pm on 45 minute journeys.
The railway said in a statement: “In previous years, sharp eyed passengers have spotted wild deer from the train and these may again be on-hand if Santa’s train needs any assistance climbing the steep gradient through the Chiltern Hills.
“It is said locally that they are the equivalent of Santa’s North Pole reindeer.
“Santa is happy for just a few dogs to travel on his train so long as they do not steal his presents, pull his beard or chase his reindeer.”
Tickets for these trains start at £10 and can be booked by visiting www.chinnorrailway.co.uk/santaspecials or by calling 01844 354117.
There will also be mince pie steam trains on December 29, 30 and 31, but no booking is needed for these.
However, people will need to book for the evening carol service train on December 14.
