Santa Claus is coming to town

Aylesbury’s annual Santa parade takes place on Sunday (tomorrow) from 10.30am.

Father Christmas and his helpers will be parading through the town along with stilt walkers and characters such as Jack Frost.

There will also be craft stalls, free animal petting and face painting on offer in Market Square from 11am-3pm.

On top of that youngsters can enjoy rides on a mini funfair.

Meanwhile Santa’s grotto will also be unveiled inside Friars Square Shopping Centre.

A spokesman said: “Come and visit Santa in his fantastic grotto and don’t forget to take your Christmas wish list with you.”

A spokesman for parade organisers the Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership said: ”Santa is coming to town.

“Santa and his merry band will be parading through the town, followed by free children’s activities.

“So come and cheer him along from 10.30am. in the town centre.”
