PHOTOGRAPHY by Bierton’s Danny Higgins, such as this image of Timanfaya National Park in Lanzarote, will be one of the highlights of an exhibition in Saunderton next month.

The 38 year old will also be displaying images that he captured in Paris and Wingrave in Aylesbury Vale.

The exhibition at the Clare Foundation is part of the annual Bucks Open Studios event – where the county’s artists display their work for free and hold workshops to reveal some of their secrets.

The exhibition at the Clare Foundation will also feature paintings, textiles, glasswork and sculpture.

It was held for the first time last year and attracted 1,500 people. This year there will be more than 30 artists taking part, double last year’s number.

Bucks Open studios runs from June 9-24. Across the county there will be 539 artists taking part at 190 venues.
