Public funeral procession for Bee Gees singer

Fans and neighbours of Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb will get the chance to pay their final respects when his funeral procession travels through his hometown of Thame today.

The singer, died at the age of 62 from kidney failure last month after suffering from cancer and pneumonia.

The procession begins at 1.30 and will see a glass-sided horse drawn carraige travel from Priests End and along the High Street to the town hall.

It will then make a return journey to St Mary’s Church where a private family service will be held, with many a selection of Gibb’s songs to be played.
