An abandoned industrial site in the heart of Aylesbury could be transformed into a new housing development.

Developers want to build 73 new homes on land at the former TRW site off Buckingham Road.

The old industrial building was recently demolished and the site is unused, apart from a small car parking area.

The plans, submitted to Aylesbury Vale District Council by developer Steven Wood, include a mixture of one, two, three and four-bed houses and flats and include some social housing. A children’s play area is planned as part of the proposed development.

The full plans can be viewed online on the district council’s website.

It is hoped a decision will be taken on the application in April and no later than May this year.
