More than £1,500 was raised for the Florence Nightingale Hospice after a charity night.
Organised by Julie Pickford and Amanda Honess, the event in Longwick enticed over 100 locals to enjoy a pig roast, charity raffle, refreshments and a fun disco.
Amanda said: “It was a lovely evening with our families and close friends all mucking in to help. We chose to support Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity this year as we know it does great work and provides invaluable care and comfort to patients and their families.”
Hospice boss Sue Jenkins said: “I would like to say a big thank you to Julie and Amanda for organising this fantastic event in aid of the hospice, and to everyone who supported it.”
