MIA and Pocus are two cuties without homes this Christmas time.

Poor Pocus the kitten has been left on the shelf at The Blue Cross in Lewknor after his siblings all found new owners.

The four-month-old black kitty has spent most of his life at the centre after he came in with unwanted littermates Hocus and Sabrina at Halloween.

He is a quiet and affectionate cat who loves company and cuddles. He could possibly live with another cat, or a gentle cat-friendly dog, and older children.

Mia is an older lady who came to the centre through no fault of her own as her owners could no longer care for her.

She is nine years old and can be sensitive and shy in new situations but when she feels safe she loves nothing more than snuggling against you for a stroke.

Despite her older years, she is still spritely and enjoys a run around with her ball and long walks.

Mia would be best suited to an experienced owner who can help settle her into her new home. Although she is friendly with other dogs, she would be happiest as the only pet.

If you could give Pocus or Mia a happy new year, contact The Lewknor Blue Cross adoption centre on 0300 777 1500.
