SCORES of people united to help clean up their town on Sunday.
Community groups, churches, businesses and individuals all helped rid Thame of its unwanted rubbish.
Thame Town Cricket Club painted its pavilion, Thame Scouts litter-picked, and the Co-op car park was revitalised, including the removal of graffiti.
Thame’s firefighters helped clear larger items like sofas from the Phoenix Trail and ASM Auto-Recycling’s Scott and John helped to move rubbish and metal.
Thame’s resident street cleaner, Alan, even gave up his day off to continue his great work in the town.
