A new super-bus serving the Vale and Oxfordshire which includes leather seats, free wi-fi and power points has been unveiled.

Arriva has spent just shy of £400,000 refurbing 11 of its vehicles and has named the new models Sapphire.

They will be available on Route 280, running from Aylesbury to Oxford via Thame.

Geared up for commuters, it includes:

> Newly trimmed, high back, ‘E-leather’ seats to offer comfort and additional space.

> Free Wi-Fi and 240 volt & USB power points, ideal for charging mobile phones and laptops.

> Full size rear LED destination screens to display passenger information.

> Next stop audio and visual information.

> CCTV for added security.

Arriva is showing one of the new buses off in Kingsbury, Aylesbury until 2pm.

In addition to being able to view the bus, visitors will be treated to a garden party featuring a string trio, blue sparkly cupcakes, face painter and a children’s treasure hunt.
