A mum of two has swapped teaching kids to photographing them, by setting up her own business.

Anna Moreland, who lives in Thame, decided on a change of career, and took the plunge by buying a franchise of the Photography for Little People company.

Anna, who taught for eight years, said: “This venture allows me to unite my passion for photography and my experience of working with young children.

“I wanted a career that would complement my role as a mother and use some of the skills I developed as a teacher.

“When I heard about the Photography for Little People franchise I knew straight away that it was exactly what I was looking for.”

And the venture is going well so far, Anna will be exhibiting some of her portraits at The Baby Show at Birmingham’s NEC on May 16 and 17.

She added: “If any parents have been inspired by the recent photos of Princess Charlotte, and want to get professional photographs taken of their little ones I can provide just the service.

“I hope that this will become a thriving franchise in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

“The great thing about the service is that the photo shoot takes place in the comfort of my client’s own home, perfect for new mums and families with active toddlers.”
