GARY Tipping is turning back the years to repay a charity which is close to his heart.

The 40-year-old from Thame will be competing in his first motocross championship for 19 years in order to raise money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice.

This is after the charity were so good to his mother in the final few weeks of life.

The aim is to raise £10,000 for the charity during the season, which begins on Sunday.

There will be 11 further races throughout the year.
