Money offered for the very best streets making owners proud

THE Lea Park Residents’ Association is holding a competition to try and increase pride in the area – which will be judged by the mayor.

A spokesman for the residents’ group said: “In conjunction with the initiative to cut back overhanging bushes, Lea Park Residents’ committee is offering a £50 prize for the best kept and maintained road or section of road with a minimum of 10 houses.

“We have invited mayor of Thame, David Bretherton, to judge the competition entries.”

The closing date for competition entries is Saturday October 22.
