Thugs threatened to stab a man before robbing him of his car keys and an Armani watch.

The victim suffered head injuries in the vicious Aylesbury attack by two men, who forced him to the ground and kicked him while demanding he hand over goods including his mobile phone.

The robbery happened as the 47-year-old man left the Spar shop in Meadow Way and returned to his car at 9.45pm yesterday (Tuesday).

As he unlocked his car the two men ran towards him, grabbed him and demanded his car keys.

When he refused, the attackers forced him to the ground, kicked him and continued to demand his keys and mobile phone.

They then threatened to stab the man if he would not hand over his keys and stole his watch by forcing it off his wrist and also tried to wrench rings off his fingers.

The robbers then left with the victim’s car keys and his watch. However, the car was not stolen.

The victim was treated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital for his injuries.

The first attacker is black or mixed race, between 17 and 25 years old and of a medium, slightly muscular build. He was wearing a dark hooded top, dark trousers and a fabric scarf over his face. His accomplice was also black or mixed race, 17 to 25 years old and wearing a dark hooded top, dark trousers with a fabric scarf over his face.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the robbery or anyone who saw the thugs in the area at the time.
