Time has been kind to Thame
Normally when you take a trip down memory lane and look into the archives at yesteryear there is usually a stark difference to what we see in the same place today.
That’s not the case in Thame, though, where 93 years on from this fantastic photograph (above) things still look refreshingly similar.
The photograph taken from our archives shows Cornmarket in Thame where the Bird Cage, Town Hall and Spread Eagle are all clearly visible as they are today.
The main difference is that the vehicle of choice on show here in 1920 had four legs instead of wheels.
