Taste of Italy at Thame market

Visitors to Thame town centre last week were treated to the sights and sounds of a special Italian market.

After the success of a similar event in 2011, Italia in Piazza returned with more delicious ingredients and traditional recipes.

Stallholders such as Francesco Girardi (pictured) offered a wide variety of traditional goods and there was also a chance for visitors to brush up on their Italian.

Simon Faro, Italia in Piazza owner, said: “The market offers my customers a truly Italian experience.”
