It was put up after revelations earlier this week that smooching had been outlawed at a passenger drop-off point at Warrington Bank Quay Station in Cheshire because it holds up commuters. Princes Risborough commuters will not pay any extra for a 2013 season ticket to London after complaining about a new timetable.
Chiltern Railways have raised their fees by an average 3.5% which remains lower than the national industry average of 3.9%,
However, Risborough prices will remain frozen for the year after campaigners said a new timetable introduced in December led to slower services.
On a poster at the station managing director Rob Brighouse explains the decision.
It reads: “In recognition of the strength of feeling, I have decided that we will not increase the price of season tickets to London in 2013.”
