Revealed: Thames Valley Police expenditure
A new report has shown Thames Valley Police to have the fifth highest total gross expenditure of forces in the UK and Wales.
In a new TaxPayers’ Alliance report into how many officers and PCSOs are visible and available in comparison to expenditure it revealed Thames Valley Police spent £423,599,000.
But, despite the high expenditure the force has the fourth highest number of officers and PCSOs with 4,861.
Out of the 43 forces it has the 18th highest number of officers and PCSOs visible.
