‘Mi-Space’ sessions to help youngsters relax

A NEW firm has been set up in town aimed at helping children relax.

The business, named Mi-Space, gives children and teenagers help in learning and developing relaxation skills.

There will be two classes run in Thame: Relax Kids Classes for children aged 5-11 and Pre-Exam Chill Skills for teenagers.

Founder of Mi-Space, mother-of-one Katharine Totoni, said: “I have recently trained a Relax Kids Coach and I am licensed to train on behalf of Relax Kids which is the UK’s leading expert in children’s relaxation.

“Relax Kids has been established for more than 10 years and has developed a unique seven step programme to relaxation including breathing, stretching, massage, positive thinking exercises and guided positive visualisations.

“I came across Relax Kids when looking to help my own son with relaxation, self esteem and confidence issues.

“Relax Kids has significantly improved my son’s confidence, ability to make friends and overall attitude to his learning.

“Seeing the difference in my own son really inspired me to want to make a real difference to other children’s lives and to start teaching it myself.”

Relax Kids Classes start on April 18 at Meadow View Park, Thame Football Club and Pre-Exam Chill Skills workshops start on April 13 at The Space Yoga Studio, Thame High Street.
