A man was subjected to a terrifying robbery after a teenage gang held a knife to his cheek and stole his mobile phone and cash near Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

The 30 year old man was walking from the hospital towards Aylesbury town centre at 4.30pm on Saturday when he was approached from behind by three teenage boys.

One of the teenagers held a knife to the victim’s cheek and demanded his cash and mobile phone.

The victim handed over his possessions and the boys ran off towards Churchill Avenue. The knife caused a scratch on the man’s right cheek but he did not require any hospital treatment.

The three criminals were all Asian and between 16 and 18 years old.

PC Lucy Hales, from Aylesbury police station, is asking for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious or who saw the offenders in the area at the time to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact her via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

If you don’t want to speak directly to the police, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org
