Jungle Book fun for children at Stoke Mandeville Hospital
Jungle Book characters entertain at Stoke Mandeville Hospital
Jungle Book characters have helped bring some cheer to the children’s ward at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
Children, parents and medical staff were treated to performances of songs from the famous story by members of Sainsbury’s youth forum.
The event was in aid of Comic Relief, with the visitors leaving behind a donation of toys for the ward.
Patrick Barry, play specialist on the ward, said: “Sainsbury’s youth forum’s costumes and performances were great and was a highlight for the children and their families during their stay on the ward.
“They really enjoyed the singing and I am sure the toys will be enjoyed by many children for years to come.”
