A 55-year-old man has been given a three year Anti Social Behaviour Order for illegally camping in the Aylesbury Vale.

Stuart Pettigrew Snr was given his order at Aylesbury Magistrates Court after months of investigation by the police.

Police released details of Pettigrew’s order today after he was sentenced last Thursday.

Investigating officer, PC Michael Griggs said: “Securing an order against Stuart Pettigrew Snr is the culmination of months of evidence gathering on the part of the Thames Valley Police and our partner agencies.

“Mr Pettigrew, whilst camped illegally on various different encampments across Aylesbury Vale, failed to engage with the agencies who were there to support him, failed to abide by the codes of conduct which were in place to manage the sites and demonstrated behaviour of such an anti social nature that individuals feared for their personal safety.

“Any breaches of the ASBO conditions will be investigated by the police.”
