Grot spot given a makeover

An Aylesbury ‘grot spot’ has been cleaned up after complaints were made about the mess.

For months rubbish from takeaway venues and other places has been piling up behind the old Woolwich building in the High Street.

The Bucks Herald reported on the problem last month, with town councillors highlighting it as one of the worst places in town for rubbish. Now, thanks to the work of the town centre partnership, the area has been tidied up.

However, it has been cleaned before and there are fears it could backslide to its former grotty state. Email your grot spots to editor roger.hawes@jpress.co.uk
