Golfers get in the swing for charity
BBC presenter Chris Hollins and his father and former England footballer John chipped in to help raise nearly £6,000 for Children in Need at a charity golf day.
The Oxfordshire Golf Club hosted the event, with each player’s green fee donated to support the cause.
A total of 29 teams took part on November 16, raising £5,880.
The winning team of Trevor Smith, Mike Bennett, Philip Murphy and Dean Bedford won a four ball voucher which they can use on a range of courses. Comedian Russ Williams provided entertainment at dinner and there was a charity auction.
