Golden tree for memory

Hardy Haddenham Parish Council members braved cold, wintery weather on Monday for the formal planting of an oak sapling in Banks Park, in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The official planting was performed by David Rankin, pictured, the long-serving and very recently retired tree warden for the village. Dave’s role in supporting local tree care and encouraging additional planting over the last decade was formally acknowledged, with grateful thanks expressed by all those present.
