District gets waste award after massive increase in recycling rates
Residents in South Oxfordshire have been congratulated on their excellent recycling records yet again.
The Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire District Councils scooped the Best Improved Recycling Rates prize at the LARAC Celebration Awards 2012.
Recycling rates have increased from 42% at launch in 2009 to around 70% in South Oxfordshire.
