Cut the music: Police suspicious of potential illegal rave

Police are on the lookout after discovering a potential rave could be held tonight (Friday) or on Saturday night.

In previous years rural locations within Aylesbury Vale have been targeted to hold illegal parties but the police have no information on specific places yet.

Insp Emma Garside said: “I would ask people to be vigilant for people setting up music equipment or an increased movement of vehicles and people which appears out of the ordinary for a particular area.

“Given the cold weather it is possible that barns or industrial units may be likely venues. The sooner the police are made aware of an illegal music gathering the sooner we can respond and take steps to shut it down.”

Anyone who has information can call the police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
