A unique care provision comparison and feedback website has been created by a Chinnor man.

Mark Walford’s website, trustedcare.co.uk, lists every registered care home and home care provider in the country.

It includes a tool allowing users to select providers and compare them, helping to narrow down their selection before going on a viewing. People can also share their experiences through ratings and recommendations, which are verified by the website team.

Mr Walford, 24, said: “The idea came to me whilst helping my mum to establish her own care company. We quickly realised that the key decision makers who are responsible for arranging care on behalf of a family member or a loved one often come from all over the country.

“This formed the question: how does a small local operator engage with a national audience to promote their services? I was amazed to find the lack of good quality websites for this vital industry, so decided to create my own to help the public and care providers find each other.”

John Howell MP hit the button to send the site live.
