Ambitious businesses throughout Bucks can benefit from prestigious awards that have opened for entries.

The Buckinghamshire Ambassadors’ Enterprise Awards are the county’s leading business accolades and will be staged at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on May 23.

The event, run by Bucks Business First, has 10 awards on offer for businesses of all sizes.

Previous winners are full of praise for the event and the impact its had on their careers.

Cerub PR’s Ceri-Jane Hackling, who won 2011’s Entrepreneur of the Year, said: “It’s really good (to win) and such a good a boost for the company internally and as a morale boost for the team.

“It’s not just about me, you don’t get any award without the team behind you and it’s really good publicity for the company.

“The amount of people who came up to afterwards to say well done while many potential clients think it’s a great achievement.”

Another previous entrepreneur winner and chairman of Bucks Business First, Alex Pratt, added: “To win an enterprise award in the entrepreneurial heart of Britain puts you head and shoulders above others.

“We should not be surprised that despite very difficult economic conditions, more businesses start and more jobs are created in Bucks than anywhere else in the country.”
