A young mum from Aylesbury has reached the grand finals of a national modelling competition.
Stacie Anderson, 25, who lives in Buckingham Park with her four-year-old son Kiano, is one of 27 finalists in the over 25s category for Top Model UK.
The former Mandeville School pupil accidentally left her make-up bag at the train station on the way to her audition so feared she would not be chosen from the thousands of applicants.
She said: “I took it out of my bag to pay for my train ticket and must have left it on the side!
“I found it on the way back! It might have helped me to be natural though.”
Stacie, who works part-time at Trespass in Friars Square, will take to the catwalk live on satellite TV at The Hilton London Metropole Hotel on April 5.
She said: “I’m really over the moon and looking forward to it but a little bit shaky too as I’m quite a nervous person.
“There was a lot of waiting around in our bikinis before they read out some numbers, but not mine at first, and I was sat there freezing before they said congratulations.”
