Pupils from Long Crendon Primary School are pleased with their new playground fort

Children in Long Crendon will have magical breaktimes from now on after a local company donated a play fort to their school.

Pupils from Long Crendon Primary School can let their imaginations run wild after the wooden structure was installed in the playground.

It was discovered in a delapidated condition in the garden of a house in Gerrards Cross after the new owner wanted it removed. That’s when children’s playhouse firm Enchanted Creations – based in Great Kimble – took it on and refurbished it before re-erecting it at the Chilton Road school.

Headteacher Sue Stamp said: “Teachers, parents and children would like to sincerely thank Enchanted Creations for their incredible creativity and kind generosity. They have truly brought a little bit of magic to our playground.”

Owner of Enchanted Creations Brad Smith said: “We love what we do and it’s nice to be able to give something back to the community.

“The children gave us a sing-a-long of ‘Bob the Builder’ while we were installing it!”
