Two men, including a 60-year-old man from Aylesbury, died in a car crash on the A413 near Wendover this morning.
At 6am a black Vauxhall Astra travelling from Amersham to Wendover collided with a grey Peugeot 308 travelling in the opposite direction between the Bowood Lane and Leather Lane turn-offs.
The driver of the Peugeot, a 60-year-old man from Aylesbury, and the driver of the Vauxhall, a man in his 20s from High Wycombe both died at the scene.
The families of both men have been informed.
A female passenger from the Vauxhall, believed to be in her 20s, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital suffering from serious injuries.
The road was closed until 10.30am and has now re-opened.
Anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have seen either the Vauxhall with two occupants or the Peugeot with only the driver just before the collision at 5.55am is asked to call 101 and speak to PC Sarah Phillips.
More on this as we get it.
