A mum is at her wits end after having three cars written off in nine years at a dangerous roundabout.
Now Wilma Cordell, 56, from Devereux Place, Aylesbury, is calling on the council to make the junction safe before someone is killed or seriously injured.
Mrs Cordell claims drivers approach the roundabout in Meadowcroft and Devereux Place on the A41 Bicester Road, too fast and unaware it is there.
Neighbours who have also had issues with the roundabout are supporting the campaign.
Mrs Cordell said: “I think the county council are waiting for a fatality to happen.
“The problem is that people don’t realise that cars are emerging from Devereux Place.
“People just do not slow down at all.
“It is like watching an idiot’s guide to driving around a roundabout.”
Mrs Cordell said three cars belonging to her had been written off in the past nine years.
She said: “In the most recent crash my husband was just popping over to the shops and as he was coming out of Devereux Place he was hit by someone driving from the left.
“I think the council should either make the roundabout bigger or look at reducing the speed limit along that road.”
A county council spokesman said: “There have been five reported injury collisions at this junction, or within 50m of it in the latest five years of collision data we currently hold.
“All these collisions have resulted in slight injuries, with the last reported injury collision in July 2012.
“In the latest review there were 80 other collision sites that had a higher rate of such collisions than this junction.
“The junction has not therefore currently been raised as a priority for any remedial safety works.”
