Get your leather jackets and Bobby socks on, because the Thame Snooker Club is hosting a rock ‘n’ roll event to remember.
The charity night, which takes place on Saturday from 7.30pm, is in memory of Richard Stanley, who sadly died eight years ago from a blood condition. He was a huge Elvis fan, and the event will feature a big screen disco playing classics from the king, as well as a whole host of other favourites from the era.
Sponsored by C&A Roofing in Tettsworth and Silent Windows in Chinnor, the night was organised by Richard’s wife Karen. Tickets cost £5 on the door.
