Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber popped into an Aylesbury pub for a quick drink after enjoying his own show at the Waterside Theatre.
The A-list theatre impresario stopped off at The Broad Leys in Wendover Road after catching Wet Wet Wet star Marti Pellow perform as Che Guevara in Evita, which he wrote the music for.
Rebecca Saunders, who works at the pub owned by Helen Wood, said: “Everyone was looking and whispering ‘is that Andrew Lloyd Webber?’
“We didn’t realise that Evita was on at the theatre.
“It was really nice because one of the bar staff Amy Benton is a dancer and really looks up to him, she was in a bit of a state because she was so excited, but he was so nice and was happy to pose for a picture.”
Lord Lloyd Webber watched Evita at the Waterside on Wednesday, July 16.
