Imperial forces invaded Aylesbury town centre to celebrate Star Wars Day.
Dead Universe Comics, which is based in Friars Square, organised the weekend long event to celebrate Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, and Star Wars Day (May the 4th) on Sunday.
Throughout the weekend visitors to the shopping centre could admire a range of costumes from Batman’s Joker to Luke Skywalker, and take part in activities and promotions.
And the shop put on a raffle and tombola which raised £408 for the Florence Nightingale Hospice.
Ian Hine, who owns the store said: “It was quite spectacular, I can’t even put it into words, it totally eclipsed anything we have done before.
“Aylesbury had never seen anything like it and there were loads of people taking pictures, there was even a couple getting married that posed with the Stormtroopers.
“The turnout was fantastic, and a lot of our local customers volunteered to help which was really great.
“We now have a blueprint for how to put it on, so we can make future events bigger and better.”
