A father and son enjoyed a win at Wembley as they celebrated a national award in front of a sold out crowd.
Chris and Ollie Williams from Thame make up Off The Ball Media, a company that specialises in providing content for football programmes and websites as well as social media and PR advice.
The pair help clubs from as far afield as Lincoln City to Braintree Town and their contribution to Oxford United’s matchday magazine saw them help the club win the Football League Programme of the Year for League Two for the second successive year this season.
Their reward was to a day at Wembley for the play-off game between QPR and Derby County where they were presented with their trophy on the pitch before kick-off.
Chris said: “It was a fantastic honour and nice to share the day with my son; he’s the brains of the outfit really.
“We offer support to editor Martin Brodetsky and we have a great team at Oxford that produce the programme for each game.
“It is voted by other clubs in the division and it is a little overwhelming to win it twice in a row.
“It was slightly daunting to receive the award on the Wembley pitch. It’s not often two Thame lads come back from Wembley with a trophy!”
