A charity founder will find out on Monday if he has won a prestigious national award for his work that helps seriously ill children.
Pepper Foundation founder and patron Robert Breakwell, of Aston Clinton, will attend a glitzy London ceremony for the final of the Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards.
He has already beaten three other regional finalists in the ITV News Anglia region.
As part of his nomination Robert, who is now chief executive of the Chilterns MS Centre, featured in a short film about the Pepper Foundation, which also included Christine and Eddie Hodgson, from Tring, along with their terminally ill 13-year-old son Jamie.
