Patricia Goodband murder trial due to start

The trial of an Aylesbury man accused of murdering Patricia Goodband is due to start on Monday.

Mrs Goodband, 76, was reported as missing from her home in Woodham, near Aylesbury, in January 2013.

Her body was found on land next to her house later the same month.

Christopher Symons, 63, of Thackeray End, Aylesbury, will stand trial for her murder at Reading Crown Court.

Also standing trial is Kathleen Adams, 74, of Aylesbury Road, Askett, Princes Risborough, who has been charged with one count of perverting the course of justice, and Jennifer Creasey, 73, of Hale Road, Benson, Oxfordshire, who has been charged with one count of perverting the course of justice and one count of assisting an offender.
