Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after a worker at Aylesbury Railway Station was repeatedly punched in the face.
British Transport Police has been carrying out a ‘detailed investigation’ since the attack, which involved two men.
The pictured man is believed to have links with Princes Risborough.
The incident took place at about 9pm on September 20 last year.
The member of staff approached a man who had jumped the ticket barriers.
The victim questioned the man and told him he would have to buy a valid ticket.
The man then punched the worker repeatedly in the face, knocking him to the ground.
Another man then began to verbally threaten the victim whilst he was on the floor before both men fled the station.
The victim was left with minor cuts and bruises.
PC Robert Maulini, who is investigating the attack, said: “Members of staff should be able to go about their daily job without the fear of this kind of assault.
“We take all reports of this kind of behaviour extremely seriously.”
